The MSS4 Device ServerT expands the capabilities of our MSS product line to accommodate multiple devices simultaneously. The four serial ports come in 2 formats; standard DB9, the same as used on the back of a PC, or Screw Terminal Block, a standard used in the automation and manufacturing industries.

The MSS4 supports RS232, RS422 or RS485 on each serial port allowing virtually any asynchronous serial device to be accessed over a network. The dual PC card interface supports wireless, ATA storage and modem PC cards enabling the MSS4 to communicate over wireless networks and store large amounts of data. Physical network connections can be accomplished using either the 10/100 RJ45 Ethernet or 100BASE-FX Fiber ST interface.

Multiple models are available to accommodate a wide range of applications and markets. The MSS4 was designed to accommodate the unique requirements of the Retail POS, Security, Automation and Medical marketplaces.
